Aquacare welcomes new physical therapy team members to Lewes
Aquacare Physical Therapy welcomes three new team members to its Lewes teams.
Layne Gable, PT, DPT, WCS, CLT,sees patients at both Lewes locations – King Street Row and Route 24. Layne has four years of experience working with pelvic health and lymphedema patients. She believes in treating every patient as a whole person, based on lifestyle, passions, and goals.
She comes from Pittsburgh, where she earned her physical therapy doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a certified lymphedema therapist and certified women’s health specialist. She grew up vacationing in Lewes and is excited to advance her career here.
Karen Gregorio, PTA, earned her associate’s degree in applied science from Union County College in Plainfield, New Jersey. Karen has over four years of experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
She has extensive training in working with individuals who have neurological and orthopedic conditions. Karen is also LSVT BIG certified and is looking to receive certifications to work with clients affected by Multiple Sclerosis.
Melissa Martinelli, MS, OTR/L, CLT, sees clients at Aquacare Lewes – King Street Row. Melissa earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She has over 18 years of experience as an occupational therapist, focusing on adult orthopedic rehabilitation.
In 2017, she received her lymphedema certification from the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy and has spent the last several years specializing in breast cancer rehabilitation, oncology, and lymphedema management.
