Physical therapy clinic is accepting new patients
Fitness Forum Physical Therapy will open its newest location in Kent Island on Monday, August 4. The full-service physical therapy clinic will offer gym-based and aquatic physical therapy services.
Shaun Taylor Bevins, PT, MPT, is a local therapist to Kent Island, serving the Centreville/Stevensville community for 15 years! She now sees patients at Fitness Forum – Kent Island. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences (1995) and master’s in physical therapy (1997) from the University of Delaware, ultimately ending up on the Eastern Shore, where she has resided for over 20 years. She’s worked as a massage therapist, fitness instructor, yoga teacher, and health coach.
Areas of specialty include joint replacement, sport’s injury/sport-specific conditioning, back/neck pain, post-op care for all joints, balance issues/fall prevention, women’s health, metabolic health, myofascial release, therapeutic yoga, and general wellness.
