We treat both men and women. We are committed to educating and helping individuals recover from conditions such as incontinence/pelvic pain that can severely impact on their life.

Orthopedic physical therapy focuses on treating the injury but also on creating the best plan for each individual. Here you will experience one-on-one care with a dedicated physical therapy team who will walk with you step-by-step through your treatment.

Cara Konlian MSPT opened Aquacare Physical Therapy in December, 1997. Under her leadership, Aquacare Physical Therapy has grown to 10 sites throughout the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware. Her mission has been to add women’s health services/pelvic floor therapy at all locations of Aquacare Physical Therapy. Aquacare Physical Therapy currently has employed nine pelvic floor therapists, serving the Eastern Shore as one of the few practices offering dedicated women's health therapists.
Mrs. Konlian's specialty includes both Women's Health and Aquatic Therapy. In regards to Aquatic Therapy, Cara has lectured nationally with various organizations including the Aquatic Therapy & Rehab Institute. In addition, she has consulted with physical therapy practices throughout New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts in the construction of an aquatic site and the implementation/marketing of aquatic therapy services. Over the last 25 years, Cara has trained as a manual women's health therapist through numerous courses offered with the Women's Health Section of the APTA and Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She is currently working towards her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) with the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
Training - Cara attended 2 years at Elizabethtown College and then received her Bachelor's of Health Science and Master's of Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia PA in 1994. She began working in outpatient orthopedics/aquatic therapy in Philadelphia, moving to the Eastern Shore in 1997 to open Aquacare Physical Therapy. She currently treats a variety of complicated pelvic floor therapy conditions including both women and men incontinence/pelvic pain and pelvic floor conditions. In addition, 2 days a week she works with a local gynecologist and gastroenterologist of the Atlantic General Hospital System in Berlin Maryland.
Cara's Vision is to work to educate the community of the importance of pelvic health so that men and women do not experience the hopelessness that can come from suffering from incontinence or chronic pelvic pain.
Outside of work, Cara loves to spend her time with her family and enjoys reading and travelling. 
Kaitlyn Smith, PTA is a Physical Therapist Assistant and Clinical Director at Aquacare's Injury Center location. A native of Delaware, she earned her associate's degree in Applied Science and Allied Health for the Physical Therapist Assistant, at Delaware Technical College. She has been practicing for five years. At Aquacare, Kaitlyn specializes in Pelvic Floor Therapy, which includes urinary incontinence and pelvic pain diagnoses for both men and women, and postpartum care. Her mission is to strive to offer the best possible skills as a PTA, not only to make people physically better, but encourage them in all aspects of life, and be a positive influence in their life. In her free time, Kaitlyn likes to spend time with her husband, son and friends, she also enjoys the outdoors. 
Ananda Cann, DPT, is a physical therapist who recently joined Aquacare Physical Therapy- Injury Center office. She earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Hampton University and her Doctorate in physical therapy from Clarkson University. During the undergraduate program, Ananda had an amazing opportunity to participate in a physical therapy observation program in Costa Rica. Ananda, a dedicated member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, actively participates in community support and health promotion initiatives. Her commitment to the field of physical therapy continues to shine through as she currently works extensively with both orthopedic and neurological diagnoses. In her leisure time, she finds joy in activities with her family, staying physically active, and exploring different destinations through travel. 
Jenna Lees, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist practicing at Aquacare’s Salisbury Injury Center location. A native of the Eastern Shore, she earned her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science at Salisbury University. She then completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She has been practicing for about four years. At Aquacare, Jenna specializes in pelvic floor therapy, pregnancy/postpartum, and also treats orthopedic conditions/injuries. In her free time, Jenna enjoys trips to the beach and spending time with her dog, Lucy. 
Jessica Wood, DPT, is a Physical Therapist at Aquacare Physical Therapy in Salisbury. Jess is from Delmar and graduated with her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2017. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of Maryland Baltimore in 2021. Jess's mission for every patient is to empower them to return to doing the things they love in a way that works for them and their specific needs. Areas of interest for Jess include orthopedic and neurological conditions, gait and balance rehab, pelvic floor conditions and pregnancy/postpartum rehab. She plans to continue to expand her knowledge in these areas to better serve her patients. She has begun to expand her knowledge about pelvic floor conditions such as urinary incontinence, bladder prolapse, and pelvic pain in training with Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. In her spare time, Jess enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their pets, as well as with her family and friends. 
Katie Weber, DPT, CMTPT, COMT, earned a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2009 from Mount St. Mary’s University and doctorate of physical therapy in 2012 from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Since finishing school, she continues to strive to better serve her patients by obtaining certification in manual trigger point therapy that incorporates therapeutic dry needling and a certification in orthopedics manual therapy. She enjoys working with a diverse patient population ranging from sports injuries, geriatrics, joint replacements, and workers' compensation patients. She is an avid runner, triathlete, and former college swimmer with special interest in the marathon and full triathlon distances. She strives to provide the highest quality of care to get all patients back to living their normal lives and back to participation in sports or recreational activities.
Training: Graduated with a BS in biology from Mount Saint Mary’s University in 2009 and with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012 from University of Maryland at Baltimore.

Cheryl Stetzer, MPT, is a Physical Therapist practicing at Aquacare's Injury Center in Salisbury, MD. She was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, and earned her bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine from Mercyhurst College. Cheryl then completed her master's in Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh. She has been practicing physical therapy for 29 years, predominantly in the outpatient setting with an emphasis on orthopedics and industrial rehabilitation. Cheryl is certified in performing Functional Capacity Evaluations and is a certified provider by the Maryland State Worker's Compensation Commission. In her free time, Cheryl enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and daughter. 
Brooke Mihalek, PTA is a physical therapist assistant practicing at Aquacare’s Salisbury location. A native of the Eastern Shore, she earned her bachelor's degree at University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She then completed her PTA certification at Wor-Wic Community College where she often gives back through volunteering to assist in learning opportunities. At Aquacare, Brooke has a passion for treating orthopedic and neurological patients through creative and specialized programs. In her free time, Brooke enjoys snuggling up with her cats to read when she isn't spending time with her daughter and husband. 
Lindsey Hunt, PTA, is a physical therapist assistant practicing at Aquacare’s Injury Center location. She earned her bachelor's degree at Salisbury University and went on to complete her physical therapy certification at Wor-Wic Community College in 2021. She has been with Aquacare since 2016. Lindsey specializes in orthopedic care and works closely with Aquacare's pelvic floor specialists to return pregnant and post-partum moms to exercising. In her free time, Lindsey is an avid CrossFitter, enjoys being outdoors with her husband and dogs, and traveling.
