Ryan Spotts, PT, DPT


Ryan Spotts, PT, DPT, has worked for Aquacare Physical Therapy for over five years as a PTA while pursuing his doctorate in physical therapy at the University of Findlay. He sees patients at the Aquacare – Millsboro location.
Ryan completed his associate’s degree at Delaware Technical Community College, and graduated with honors receiving the Magna Cum Laude Award. While working as a full-time PTA at Aquacare Physical Therapy, Ryan completed his bachelor’s degree in Health Science at Wilmington University. He also went on to complete his didactic coursework for his doctorate program as part of the University of Findlay’s PTA to DPT bridge program. Ryan has recently completed all of his clinical rotations and all academic requirements, graduating with honors. Ryan is the first PTA in the state of Delaware to transition to a DPT through a “true” bridge program. Ryan has continued his growth as a clinician by completing both McKenzie parts A and B, which focuses on the lumbar, thoracic, and cervical spine. Ryan enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling to Brazil, and watching the Philadelphia Phillies.

To stay current with the latest techniques and best practices in physical therapy, Ryan has completed advanced training, including both McKenzie parts A and B. These certifications focus on the assessment and treatment of spinal conditions, which are crucial for effective patient management.
