Philosophy of Care and Areas of Interest: Mike has worked primarily in the outpatient orthopedic setting, and specializes in general orthopedic injuries, sports related injuries, pre and post surgical treatment, balance training, and manual therapy techniques. He believes heavily in an exercise oriented rehabilitation regimen as well as a hands-on approach to managing injuries. He believes it is crucial for his patients to be compliant and consistent with their home exercise program to create independence with managing residual signs and symptoms as well as improved performance of their daily tasks. Returning patients to sports, running, and an active lifestyle describes Mike’s priority for patient care.
Training: Mike received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Salisbury University, and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. He is also a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine. Since graduating from PT school, Mike has completed the following continuing education courses:
