Megan Edwards, PTA – Pelvic Floor & Orthopedic Rehab Specialist


Megan Edwards, PTA, is a Physical Therapist Assistant at Aquacare Physical Therapy in Millsboro, Delaware. Megan started with Aquacare in 2007 as an exercise specialist. She continued to work for Aquacare until she went to Delaware Technical College in Georgetown, Delaware for their PTA program in 2012. She graduated in 2014 and has been working as a Physical Therapist Assistant for Aquacare since. Megan takes great pride in being a physical therapist assistant and focuses on educating patients on the importance of being more aware of their bodies and how to better control their posture and movements. This is to help reduce their pain, improve their function, and prevent further injury or problems. Being compliant with their care is a major factor that Megan stresses to her patients. She excels in communication with patients and explains their care in layman’s terms so that patients fully understand their treatment and how therapy can get them better. Using evidence-based practice, Megan continues to treat a wide variety of diagnoses including low back and cervical pain as well as orthopedic conditions of the foot/ankle, knee, hip, pelvis, upper extremity, and shoulder. In addition to treating orthopedic conditions. Megan also specializes in the treatment of men’s and women’s pelvic floor dysfunctions. Megan’s vision: “I strive to help patients learn the importance of how to care for their bodies and their health. My passion for physical therapy drives me to actively pursue education courses that will allow me to provide the best treatment for my patients!”
Megan Edwards holds a degree from Delaware Technical College, where she completed her Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2012. Her educational background equips her with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide high-quality care in physical therapy.
