Laura Reitman: Expert Physical Therapist in Orthopedic & Aquatic Care


Laura Reitman was born and raised in Columbia, MD. Growing up, she performed in the Howard Co. Modern Dance Company where her interest in movement began. Later, she attended Ithaca College in upstate New York and earned a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Laura happily settled in Baltimore, and for the past 22 years she has worked exclusively in orthopedic outpatient centers. As a pool lifeguard and beach lover, she has always been drawn toward the water. Laura has successfully combined physical and Aquatic Therapy throughout her career and have enjoyed it tremendously. As a licensed Physical Therapist, she has taken numerous continuing education courses in Core Stabilization and Pilates and finally came to rest at the well regarded Aquacare Physical Therapy.
Laura Reitman holds a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College, equipping her with a strong foundation in rehabilitation sciences. Her education has provided her with the theoretical knowledge and clinical skills necessary to excel in her practice.
In addition to her degree, Laura has pursued various specialized courses to enhance her expertise in orthopedic care and aquatic therapy.
