Amy Cyphers, PTA, has always had a passion for helping people improve their quality of life and achieve maximum function. She was a college athlete and completed her undergraduate studies in Sociology and Computer Science before spending five years living in Spain and two years in Mexico. She moved back to New Jersey to raise her children and worked as a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor for 12 years before going back to school to become a physical therapist assistant.
For the past eight years Amy has worked as a licensed PTA in a variety of outpatient settings in New Jersey, Florida, and Maryland. She recently relocated to the Annapolis area to continue her career closer to her family.
Although she enjoys working with patients of all ages, Amy particularly enjoys working with the geriatric population and helping them regain/maintain independence. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with family, hiking with her dog, biking, and playing pickleball.
