Wendy Walters, OTR/L


Wendy Walters, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist with over two decades of clinical practice, focused on facilitating safe and independent function for impaired individuals. She has degrees in both occupational therapy and psychology and graduated with her OT degree from Howard University in Washington, DC. Her expertise spans home health, acute care, subacute rehabilitation, long term care, and outpatient services. She enjoys the challenge of working with complex medical issues including neurologic, orthopedic, geriatric, pelvic and cognitive disorders.
She is a proud military brat (Air Force), having travelled all over the US and overseas. She and her husband moved from Baltimore to the eastern shore for a change of pace. They settled in Cambridge with their children, dogs Finn and Henry, cat Lucky and daughter’s bearded dragon, Steve. She enjoys travelling and adventure, experiencing other cultures, learning new skills, listening to music, and creating/making art – most recently, stained glass.
