Tessa Doughty, PTA, has 22 years of experience. She is the clinical director at Aquacare Salisbury – Milford Street. Her experience in the field of physical therapy ranges from inpatient care, acute care and outpatient orthopedic and aquatic therapy.
At Aquacare, she specializes in orthopedics, vestibular/balance, and aquatic therapy with individualized programs for each patient. These programs are modified and adapted to fit the needs of every client that we treat using evidence-based practices.

I continue to work on improving my skills and knowledge as a therapist with continuing education, discussions with other professionals in my field of work as well as constant communication with the area doctors on different interventions and treatment approaches that may better serve my patients.”
Tessa received her associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from Delaware Technical Community College and have continued to further my knowledge through continuing education courses. She has attended such courses as Great Lakes Joint Mobilization Techniques, Manual Soft Tissue Techniques and Vestibular Rehabilitation and has also provided clinical instructor leadership to current students in the process of obtaining their physical therapy assistant degree. She attended aquatics and orthopedic rehabilitation courses as well as management and leadership courses.
