Maureen E Gordon, PT, MSPT, CEAS

Maureen Gordon graduated in 1996 from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees in Physical Therapy. She worked in outpatient orthopedics after graduation before exclusively treating people with concussions, vestibular, balance, and headache disorders. Evaluation and treatment of these specialty conditions became her passion. She advanced her training by receiving her Certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation and her Certification in Cervicogenic Dizziness Rehabilitation (2013) from Emory University and the American Physical Therapy Association.
She was the facility director of multiple offices in Pennsylvania and New Jersey over 18 years, including two Balance and Headache Centers, before moving to Maryland in 2015. In Maryland, she chose to return to focusing on patient care and established Certified Vestibular Balance Rehabilitation Therapy (VBRT) for patients in Easton, Talbot County, and the surrounding areas. She also has returned to evaluating and treating patients with orthopedic conditions.
Maureen has provided many community lectures, taught professional continuing education courses, guest lectured at East Stroudsburg University, established vestibular competency training and testing for other physical therapists (PTs) in the evaluation and treatment of patients with concussions, and is a Certified Clinical Instructor for PT students. She uses her extensive training, hands-on skills, and clinical experience to evaluate and treat patients in an empathetic and supportive environment utilizing evidence-based research and techniques. In her spare time, Maureen enjoys traveling, yoga, water activities, and reading.
