Cailtin Ruggiero has 6 years of experience in physical therapy. She specializes in pelvic floor physical therapy and treats pelvic pain, bowel and bladder dysfunction, pregnancy and post-partum, osteoporosis, and weight loss. She has many years of experience dancing and enjoys rehabbing dancers in order to return to performing. She has her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification. Caitlin also has her core Barre Pilate’s certification. She has her undergraduate degree in health science from Marymount University and she also received her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the same university. Caitlin has been a teacher assistant and clinical instructor assisting in the training of physical therapy students. She has taken continuing education courses in pelvic floor physical therapy for both female and male patients. Caitlin also completed a three-month residency upon graduating from my graduation program in Women’s health. In addition to the continuing education courses in selective functional muscle assessment, muscle energy techniques for the spine and extremities, aquatics and myofascial release. Her vision for her patients is to get them to achieve the highest level of function. When treating pelvic floor patient’s, Caitlin wants all of her patients to have increased confidence and less of a fear of an embracing accident to occur in order to live more fulfilled lives.
