Karen Maize has 18 years of experience as a physical therapy assistant. Her areas of interest include outpatient orthopedics, manual therapy, neurological therapy, and athletic training. She obtained a B.S. from West Virginia Wesleyan College. From there, she earned her physical therapy assistant associates degree from Anne Arundel Community College. She now is an adjunct professor at Anne Arundel Community College and teaches Manual Therapy Techniques. She has taken continuing education courses from Institute of Physical Art, Barrel Institute, Great Lakes, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Noigroup-Explain Pain and Visceral Mobilization.
