Kaitlyn Smith is a PTA at Aquacare Physical Therapy in Seaford, Delaware. She is a 2018 graduate of Delaware Technical Community College, Owens campus in Georgetown, DE where she received her associate's degree in Applied Science and Allied Health for the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). During her time at Delaware Tech, she served as Secretary of her PTA club and received the Outstanding Student Leader of the Year for 2017. Areas of interest for Kaitlyn include continuing her knowledge in manual techniques, pediatrics, aquatics. She has began to expand her knowledge in Women's Health training with Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, focusing on Urinary incontinence, and myofascial release techniques. She wants to continue to focus on bladder dysfunction & go more in depth with pelvic pain syndromes. Her mission is, to strive to offer my best possible skills as a Physical Therapist Assistant, not only to make people physically feel better, but encourage them in all aspects of life, and be a positive influence in their life. She believes personal health and happiness are a few of the ultimate things people should want to achieve in their life. In her spare time, she likes to be outside, going shopping, and spend as much time with friends, family and her fiancé.
