Amanda  Pender, DPT – Clinical Director

Amanda  Pender DPT is originally from the northwest corner of New Jersey. She graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA with a degree in Neuroscience. She then went to Duke University in Durham, NC where she earned her doctoral degree in physical therapy (DPT). After graduating, she has continued her education with several certifications such as Maitland certification of Manual Therapy (COMT) and AIB Vestibular Certification (CVRT) along with becoming an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor. She has encouraged many PT and PTA students during their clinical internships to pursue the rewarding career of becoming a physical therapist. Amanda has 10 years experience as a PT and is currently treating clients in Aquacare in Millsboro, DE and Salisbury, MD. Her areas of interest are orthopedic injuries, making custom fabricated splints for wrist and hand injuries, manual therapy for a variety of disorders, vestibular disorders and balance disorders, and orthopedic injuries. Amanda is looking forward to meeting and working with you to try to help you return to your lifestyle.
