Aquacare Physical Therapy is focused on helping you achieve your goals. We work one-on-one with our patients to build a personalized treatment plan to help get you moving again.

Orthopedic rehabilitation includes pre-surgery and post-surgery physical therapy planning. It also includes sports injuries, such as tennis or pickleball elbow, golf shoulder, hip, and knee injuries, and back pain or sciatica pain.

Did you know physical therapy has been shown to be more effective in treating hip and knee pain than rest and anti-inflammatories? Physical therapy can also treat that ongoing back pain and sciatica that has been limiting how much you enjoy life.

As you progress through treatment, your physical therapist team walks step by step with you to adjust your plan as needed. Aquacare is one of the few physical therapy providers to continue to offer this one-on-one service delivered with a WOW factor.

We accept most insurance plans and our patient care coordinators explain the details to you and can answer your questions.

Pelvic Floor Therapists

Millions of Americans are suffering from pelvic floor dysfunction, yet for most, the disease goes unidentified and untreated. Statistics say that 1 out of every 5 Americans (of every age) suffer from some type of pelvic floor dysfunction at some time in their life. Over 25 million Americans suffer from urinary incontinence alone or involuntary loss of urine. And it is not just a “women’s” disorder; men and children can have pelvic floor dysfunction as well.

Pelvic floor dysfunction refers to a wide range of problems that occur when the muscles of the pelvic floor are weak, tight, or there is an impairment of the sacroiliac joint, low back, coccyx and/or hip joint. The tissues surrounding the pelvic organs may have increased or decreased sensitivity and/or irritation resulting in pelvic pain. Many times, the underlying cause of pelvic pain is difficult to determine.

Let Aquacare’s pelvic floor specialists provide physical therapy to help you find the key to relieving your pelvic pain or stop the embarrassment of leakage of urine!

Caitlin Ruggiero, DPT is outstanding. She helped me through a very difficult time after a major operation and taught me the proper technique to recover. She is professional, knowledgeable and thorough. I recommend she receive a raise, or at the very least a bonus.

I was a patient at Aquacare in West Ocean City for several months from November 2018 to February 2019. This is by far one of the best experiences I have had for medical treatment. At first, I was a bit skeptical as to the outcome of the treatment, but Evie Tatara knew exactly how to identify my issues and proposed a treatment plan that worked beyond my expectations. She is simply the best therapist I have worked with. She is highly knowledgeable and has wonderful bedside manners. I would also like to recognize her assistant Janet, who is so friendly and did her utmost to accommodate my not-so-easy schedule. A great professional team. I will not hesitate to recommend Aquacare to friends and family and will definitely return if ever needed.

Highly recommend
