Who is right for PT PLUS?
Patients who do not want to travel to a healthcare facility or who are worried about getting COVID, RSV, or other illnesses
Patients who do not drive or who do not have access to transportation but who need physical therapy (not home healthcare)
Patients who work from home and want the convenience of having physical therapy brought to them in their home or community.

Aquacare Physical Therapy PLUS allows individuals to receive physical therapy services within the comfort and privacy of their own homes and communities. We travel to our clients to get them back to living the life they love.
Patients do not need to be confined to your home to qualify for these services. As long as there is a medical necessity for treatment you may be covered by Medicare Part B and other private insurances.
Sharon Baxley, PTA, recently joined the Aquacare PT PLUS team. Aquacare PT PLUS provides mobile physical therapy services, serving clients where they live, work, or play, including in their homes, fitness centers, community pools, pickleball or tennis courts, and golf courses.
Sharon is originally from Columbia, Maryland, and has over 30 years of PTA experience. She is a certified kinesiotaping practitioner, a certified health and wellness coach, and has experience working with a variety of orthopedic and women’s health conditions.
She earned her associate degree as a physical therapist assistant from Northern Virginia Community College. She loves to travel, go camping with her family, and explore the outdoors.
“I am excited to join Aquacare PT PLUS and to be able to give one-on-one care to my patients while making the services relevant to the patient’s needs and goals,” Baxley said. “It is nice to see patients in their own environment and to be able to tailor a specific routine around the obstacles they are facing.”
